I am passionate about homes, art, style, and community. I’m a proud father and a devoted family member, a creative force and a great resource for ramblings about architecture, real estate, marketing, history, pop culture and more. I’m always hungry, never tired. My camera and iPhone have supplanted my paintbrush, mostly.
I grew up hopping the tracks of Philadelphia’s Main Line, and enjoyed time spent blissfully roaming the halls and gardens of some of the area’s most architecturally significant homes – La Ronda, Ardrossan, and Glencairn were all mine, if for hours at a time.
I’ve been selling real estate since 2008, and I currently work for Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty. As a luxury property marketing expert and innovator in real estate sales and marketing, I have the pleasure of working with buyers, sellers, and agents representing fine homes in all price ranges. I relish the opportunity to see the most beautiful homes in the region and the world.
I try to keep a daily record of what inspires me, and the great glimpses of life around me that I can share. In 2009, I started Proper Philadelphia, a blog named as a tongue-in-cheek reference to Digby Baltzell’s work and dedicated to documenting Philadelphia’s social, philanthropic, and cultural scene. My current blog is a distilled and more focused iteration, with an emphasis on my passion for the way we live well.
